Our work has evolved to follow the trajectory of China’s poverty relief efforts. From helping AIDS-impacted orphans in the 1990s to now branching out to helping students who are underprivileged\, affected by illness in the family\, or facing discrimination\, we have effectively used our Holistic Education Sponsorship Program to pull them out of poverty\, enable them to stand on their own feet\, and become contributing members of society. \nTo date\, more than 37\,000 such children have benefitted from our program\, which encompasses education sponsorship\, psychosocial therapy\, and financial and medical assistance. Our aim is to alter their destiny and give them a future filled with hope. Since 1998\, Chi Heng has been constantly providing support and assistance to AIDS orphans in mainland China\, allowing them to receive education continuously. To date\, Chi Heng has proudly assisted over 37\,000 AIDS impacted children. In addition to providing them with funding for primary\, secondary and university education\, Chi Heng has also provided other related services such as counselling\, vocational placement and community based care.
